Offboard.life gives every family two things they desperately need: a complete map of everything their loved one leaves behind — and a record of who they actually were.
Baby Boomers are aging right now. Every single one will leave behind a family with unanswered questions and undocumented lives. We’re changing that.
Join the waitlistYou document everything so the team isn’t lost without you — who to call, where things are, how things work. Every professional does it. It’s called offboarding.
Nobody does it for their life. Until now.
Finding everything — the accounts, the assets, the subscriptions still charging, the people who need to be notified. Families spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars piecing it together, on top of grief.
And grieving what they never got to ask. The stories. The regrets. The wisdom their parent spent a lifetime accumulating. The questions the adult child rehearsed for years but never quite found the right moment for.
Both are preventable. Almost no one prevents them.
A guided discovery process — not a form — that surfaces your complete financial and digital life. What exists, where it is, and exactly what your family needs to do with it.
A pre-programmed avatar interviewer — warm and unhurried — conducts a life interview one chapter at a time. Their stories, their wisdom, the things they never quite said out loud. The Life Portrait grows with each chapter completed.
Your attorney doesn’t know about your streaming services, forgotten 401k, or Venmo balance. A will is a distribution plan — not a map.
Even the most organized binder goes out of date the moment life changes — and it can’t help you discover the accounts you no longer remember having.
Knowing an account exists — and who to call — is worth just as much as a login. Offboard.life documents what matters without storing credentials.
The Map stays editable forever — update it whenever your life changes. Interview chapters can be completed at your own pace, across as many sessions as you need. Your family always has the most current version of everything.
Your first step is just one thing: one person your family should call. No overwhelming chapters. We build momentum one answer at a time.
With your permission, we can scan your email inbox for billing receipts and account notifications — surfacing forgotten subscriptions, investments, and services. We only read the sender name and subject line — never your email content or attachments. You decide what to include.
Crypto. Loyalty points. Online businesses. Unclaimed property. Autopay bills. Our guided process surfaces what matters so your family doesn’t have to hunt for it.
We never ask for your passwords. Instead we guide you through setting up a free emergency access feature so your family can get in when the time comes — without you sharing a single password today.
A family guide is available after you complete the questionnaire. Go at your own pace, stop and come back anytime — your progress is always saved. You can also edit answers when life changes.
This is the most common thing we hear. Offboard.life is designed to help you find them.
With your permission, we scan your email for billing receipts and account notifications. Works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, Apple Mail, and more.
Once we’ve found your accounts, we can help you confirm which ones are still active — so your family’s guide is accurate, not just a list of old accounts.
Discovered accounts are grouped by category — banking, investments, subscriptions, digital assets — and flow directly into your Family Guide.
We only read the sender name and subject line — never email body content or attachments. We never store your emails. You can disconnect at any time.
A pre-programmed avatar sits down with your loved one and asks the questions families never find the right moment for. Conducted across as many sessions as they need, at their own pace.
“Is there a younger version of you that you’d want to say something to now? Take your time — there’s no rush.”
A complete, plain-English map of every account, asset, and subscription — with exactly what to do and who to call. Automatically regenerates every time The Map is updated, so your family always has the current version.
A condensed action guide for whoever is handling the estate — including password access instructions and a checklist ordered by urgency.
The full interview, chaptered by topic. Their face. Their voice. Their pauses before the hard answers.
A standalone audio file of the full interview — for a quiet moment, or a day when someone just needs to hear their voice again.
A beautifully written narrative drawn from everything they said. Not a transcript — a portrait. The thing someone reads at a memorial, or sends to a grandchild who never got to meet them.
We start small — your very first step is just one thing: one person your family should call. No overwhelming chapters, no long forms. We build from there at whatever pace works for you.
There’s no set time — and that’s intentional. The Map can be completed in stages over days or weeks. The life story interview is done one chapter at a time, whenever you’re ready. Some people finish everything in a weekend. Others come back to it over months. Both are fine.
Yes — and that’s exactly how most people use it. Your progress is saved after every answer. You can stop anytime and pick up exactly where you left off. The interview is designed to be completed one chapter at a time, across as many sessions as you need.
Your family gets something useful at every stage. A partial Family Guide is generated after each Map chapter you complete. Interview chapters you finish are permanently preserved. Whatever exists when the time comes is available — there’s no penalty for an incomplete document.
Everything you share is encrypted and stored securely. Only you can see it — until you choose to share it with the people you trust. We never sell your data. We never read your documents. You can delete everything permanently at any time.
Never. We don’t ask for passwords and we don’t store them. We help you document that accounts exist — the name, the institution, who to contact — and we guide you through setting up a separate free emergency access tool so your family has a path in when the time comes.
Only you — until you designate someone. You control who has access, what level of access they have, and when that access is granted. Executor access is time-locked by default and only releases when you choose to share it.
Yes — you can delete individual Map answers or your complete account permanently at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Life story interview recordings are sealed when you complete a chapter and preserved permanently — that’s by design, not a limitation.
A will tells your family who gets your assets. It doesn’t tell them where those assets are, how to access them, what subscriptions are still charging, or what to do first. A will is a distribution plan. Offboard.life is the map that makes it possible to execute one.
A password manager tells your family how to get in. It doesn’t tell them what accounts exist, which ones matter, what to cancel, who to notify, or what order to do things in. And it captures none of your story. Offboard.life and a password manager work together — we help you connect the two so your family has both the map and the keys.
Up to five things: a Family Guide (plain-English map of every account and asset), an Executor Summary (step-by-step action checklist), a video recording of the life story interview, an audio track, and a written Life Portrait — a narrative document drawn from everything said in the interview.
Yes — The Map is a living document and is editable forever. Your Family Guide updates automatically as you complete each chapter. Your family always has the most current version.
Each chapter is permanently sealed when you confirm you’re done — the video, audio, and transcript are preserved exactly as recorded and cannot be edited. Chapters you haven’t done yet remain available to complete at any time, even years later.
One payment — no subscription, no renewal, no expiry. Update The Map whenever your life changes. Return to add interview chapters whenever you’re ready. Your executor’s access never lapses. Nothing requires a recurring payment to stay active.
All your documents are downloadable as PDFs at any time. Your Family Guide, Executor Summary, and Life Portrait are yours to keep. Your video and audio recordings can be downloaded too. You never lose access to what you’ve created.
You designate one or more executors from within Offboard.life. They receive an invitation and can see that they’ve been designated — but your documents are locked until you release them. You can release access manually at any time, or set up a verified release that activates after confirmation from trusted contacts.
